Link’s Awakening 17 – Waking the Wind Fish

In this episode we finish the game. I go figure out my specific path to the end boss, then go blow a hole in the Wind Fish's egg. I struggle during one of the incarnations of the final boss, but eventually prevail! We are then awarded a very beautiful ending, indeed. This game was a joy to play, as were the Gameboy originals. This ending brought a real emotional weight to the whole proceedings and besides wondering what Link must've done after the whole ordeal still being stuck out in the ocean we are left with a bittersweet feeling of completion to this story.
