Final Fantasy VIII Remaster 33 – Start of Disc 2

We're the goofy protagonist Laguna again, this time seemingly later on down the line in his life. He's now post up in a sleepy little town called Winhill where he protects residents from monsters. Kiros comes to visit after not having seen Laguna in a while. After the duo complete a successful patrol of the town they report back to Raine and Ellone and go take a nap. Then we wake up as the Zell, Quistis, Selphie & Rinoa in the cell of some undisclosed prison. Captured by the Galbadian troops after their assassination attempt, the group must find a way out before they're executed for high treason against the Sorceress. This isn't a bad place to grind and there's some pretty good loot to be had from the other prisoners.
