Final Fantasy VIII Remaster 01 – Welcome to Balamb

The story begins with a very frantically cut introduction FMV, the same from the original Playstation. Then our man protagonist Squall awakens in the infirmary after his struggle with Seifer. We meet another main character and Squall's instructor Quistis Trepe, who retrieves him from the infirmary and escorts him to class. From here a small lecture then we're off getting our first two GFs (Guardian Force) and exploring the campus of Balamb Garden. We run into newly transferred Trabia Garden student Selphie Tilmitt, who is also another main party character, and introduce her(and ourselves) to the layout of Balamb Garden.
