Chrono Trigger – 021 – Ocean Palace pt.2 Lavos is Summoned

Our crew continues deeper into the ocean palace until we finally meet up with Schala, the queen and her lackeys. We seem to have gotten there just in time too, it looks like they were getting ready to get their big weird Lavos driven machine up and running. Chrono thrusts the red knife into the Mammon Machine, turning it into the Masamune, which is suppose to destroy the machine. It actually does nothing, besides maybe pissing Lavos off. Lavos comes and immediately destroys my party. Magus tries his hand, but doesn't have much luck either. Things are looking pretty dire for everyone until Chrono makes the ultimate sacrifice, sending everyone back to the Ocean Palace where Schala sends us out of harms way. But what about Chrono? He's dead.
