Chrono Trigger – 003 – The Trial, Forward to the Future

So what kind of thanks do we get for saving the princess and bringing her back to our own time? A trial and a death penalty. Luckily they didn't take my sword or equipment when they locked me up, so it was almost too easy breaking out. On my way out I find out Lucca was on her way to save me so we team up again with Marle, as she is pretty upset about the whole ordeal and has a family falling out. Their loss! Unfortunately the castle guards are after us so we are forced to jump into a time portal to who knows when.
