Chrono Trigger – 027 – Lucca’s Mom and the Sun Stone

We grab Robo's remains out of Fiona's Shrine and decide to take to have an old fashioned camp night, complete with bonfire. The crew sits around and talks Lavos and gate theory for a while until everyone crashes. Lucca gets restless and finds a strange gate outside the campsite. After going through it, she finds she's at the time and place of the "moment", the moment when her mom lost her legs. And she did lose her legs too, I was unable to enter Taban's wife's name in correctly I believe because I probably didn't set the buttons right on my controller setup... So yeah, too bad about that. Then right afterwards we journey to the future to grab the Sun Stone, which we do, except it's completely drains of it's energy. It would probably take eons to charge that thing up, right? Right, so the only thing to do is go back to pre-history and put it someplace where it will be in the sun for a looooong time. It seemed to be working too, until we found out someone had taken it sometime near 1,000 AD. We're pretty sure who it is too, except he ain't talking. We perform one kind deed to his ancestors and all the sudden he'd love to give it to us. We put it back and let that thing charge until the far future. Success!
