Chrono Cross 01 – Good Morning, Serge!

While certainly a departure from it's masterpiece predecessor, Chrono Trigger, Chrono Cross's engrossing story, bright and colorful graphics, stellar soundtrack and unique battle system solidified itself as a classic in it's own right. We start off with appears to be a bad dream where we meet our main character, Serge. After a surely prophetic cut scene, Serge awakes in his normal life late to meet up with I guess his girlfriend, Leena. You'd think we would want to meet up with her right away and not keep her waiting, but we putz around town for a while instead.
