This is the Japanese version of Super Mario Bros. 3. There are some differences between this and the American English version, besides just the language of the text. Screen transitions going into the levels are different and slower and when you get hit you revert back to small Mario with a nice animation of the powerup flying off Mario. Other small changes abound, I could swear there were way more card matching mini games showing up in this one.
All in all, it’s still the same classic game and definitely worth your time no matter what regional version you play.
